Trying out different ideas shouldn't mean losing the ones you already have.

Today, every edit belongs to a single version of your site. If you want to explore another direction, you either undo your work or keep multiple ideas mixed together on the same page. That makes it harder to experiment and compare different designs.

Versions lets you create separate drafts of the same website. You can make as many versions as you need, switch between them with a click, and keep each one completely independent, including its own undo history.

Every version has its own link, so anyone reviewing your work can open the real page and interact with it instead of looking at screenshots.

When you've decided which version to keep, make it the main one and send it for implementation. You can delete the others or keep them for later. If there's a section you like from another version, you can move it into the one you've chosen instead of rebuilding it.

Versions also makes collaboration easier. Suggestions from other people can arrive as separate versions instead of being mixed into your own work, making it easy to review each idea on its own and keep only the ones you want.

Versions is about exploring different ideas and choosing one to ship. If you want to compare designs with real visitors, that's what A/B Variants is for.

Versions is live. You can keep several versions of the same page in one project and switch between them without reloading. Each one stays separate, and nothing carries over from the version you just left. Everything you have built so far is the Main version, and new ones sit alongside it.

Create a version from scratch, or clone the one you are working on. A clone is a full copy, so you can take it in a different direction and the original stays untouched. Rename a version at any time, and delete the ones you are finished with.

Every version has its own undo history and its own drafts, so two ideas never get in each other's way. Requests are still shared across the project, so once you have picked a winner, you send it for implementation the way you always have.

More on how it all works: Keep several versions of the same page.

Shared links are now available, and each link can include one or more versions of a design. Share the version you're viewing, or include several and let reviewers switch between them using the version switcher.

That makes it easy to compare designs and decide which one to keep. Reviewers don't need an account or access to your project.
