Edit your website with touch, not just a mouse and keyboard.

Most design tools assume you're using a mouse. Hover before selecting, grab tiny resize handles, hold keyboard shortcuts while dragging. None of that works particularly well on a touchscreen.
Touch Support redesigns those interactions for fingers. Selection targets are easier to hit, press and hold replaces hover, pinch zooms, two fingers pan the page, and common actions don't depend on right clicks or keyboard modifiers.
The obvious place for this is a tablet. You can sketch ideas on an iPad or hand a touchscreen laptop to someone in a meeting and let them make the change themselves. But it's just as useful on a phone, where you can edit the mobile version while holding the device your visitors are actually using.

First pass is up.
Switched the interaction layer over to pointer events, so touch now works for selection, moving, and resizing. Pinch to zoom/pan is in, long press stands in for hover, and the handles are sized for fingers.
Most of the work ended up being browser behavior. Had to stop page scrolling and the long press menu from stealing gestures while design mode is active.
Still plenty of rough edges. If you run into something weird, post it here.

Already in production, so give it a try. You can pinch to zoom, drag to pan, and use the same select, move, and resize gestures you would with a mouse, just designed for touch.
It's still being tested, and there are a few bugs to fix before it's marked as shipped. If you try it on a real device, we'd really appreciate your feedback. Let us know what device you're using and what happened.
