Edit icons and logos on the page, not just their size and position.

SVGs are usually treated like images. You can move them, resize them, or delete them, but even the smallest change means opening a vector editor. Make a stroke thinner, change a single shape, flip an arrow, save, export, and replace the file.
Because those changes take so much effort, they often never happen. Icons with slightly different stroke widths end up next to each other. A logo isn't adjusted for a dark background. Small details that don't work at a particular size stay that way because they're not worth opening Illustrator for.
With SVG editing built into the page, you can work on the graphic where it already lives. Select individual paths, change fills and strokes, or edit the points themselves while seeing the icon at its real size, in its real context. It's much easier to tell whether a change actually improves the design when you're looking at the page instead of a separate artboard.
