For some organizations, cloud software isn't even an option. Banks, healthcare providers, government agencies, and many large companies have strict rules about where software runs and where data is allowed to go. If a tool can't be deployed inside their own environment, the conversation often ends there.

Self-Hosting keeps Pixy inside your network. The editor, relay, comments, and change records all stay on infrastructure you control, following your own security policies, access controls, logging, and retention rules. Nothing has to leave your environment unless you decide it should.

It also makes Pixy available where cloud services can't reach. Internal applications, staging environments, and admin systems are often isolated from the public internet by design. Running Pixy inside the same network means those sites can be edited without exposing them to the outside world.
