Plugins

Every team works a little differently. Maybe you have your own naming conventions, a launch checklist, or a CMS with a workflow nobody else needs. Those kinds of things rarely belong in the core product, but they're still important to the way your team works.

Plugins let you add that behavior yourself. Read the current selection, add panels and toolbar buttons, respond to edits, and create new ones through the same change records Pixy uses internally. To the rest of the workflow, a plugin looks just like any other edit, so it reaches your developer or AI agent in exactly the same way.

The real advantage is access to the page itself. A plugin isn't limited to a design document. It can inspect the live DOM, computed styles, rendered layout, and actual content. That makes it possible to build tools that answer questions only a real website can answer, like whether text still fits on a narrow screen or whether contrast remains readable over the image that's actually being displayed.
