Marketplace

A plugin built for one team is usually useful to a hundred others, and right now there's no way for it to reach them. The same goes for components, palettes, style guides and templates — they stay inside the project they were made for.

The marketplace is the route out. Publish what you built, other people install it in one click, and you decide whether it's free or paid, with the payment side handled rather than being your problem to build.

It's also the reason plugins get built in the first place. Writing a tool for your own team is a favour to your colleagues; writing one that other people pay for is a different proposition, and the difference is what turns a plugin API into an ecosystem rather than a feature nobody uses.
