Build a block in a separate frame, then insert it into the page.

Drawing already works. You can create shapes, text, images, groups, and other elements directly on the page.
The problem is that everything appears where you draw it, right on top of your layout. Instead of building a section on its own, you're editing in the middle of a live page. It gets harder as the page fills up, because everything else is in the way.
A component frame solves that. It's an empty space next to the page where you can build a block from scratch or drag an existing element into it to work on a copy. Nothing changes on the page until you insert the finished block.
When you're done, insert it into the layout. The component stays in the frame, ready to use again whenever you need it.
