Good editing tools shouldn't get in your way.
This update brings together a handful of improvements that make design mode feel smoother from the moment you start moving things around.
Clicking now selects the element you actually mean, even when it's wrapped inside several containers. You can drag to select multiple elements at once, or hold Shift to build a selection one click at a time.
As you move things around, nearby elements snap into alignment, making it easy to line everything up without measuring pixels. You can also rotate selections, and dragging toward the edge of the page now scrolls automatically so you can keep editing without stopping.
Every change is recorded in your editing history, so a quick ⌘Z takes you back, whether you moved one element or twenty.
None of these changes are dramatic on their own. Together, they make editing your website feel faster, more predictable, and a lot more enjoyable.
