Sometimes you just need an image of your work.
Maybe you're sharing a design with a client, adding it to a ticket, or showing a before-and-after comparison. A normal screenshot usually captures whatever size your browser happens to be, along with editor panels and other UI you don't want.
Press S, or click the camera button in the toolbar, to open the screenshot tool. Choose Full page to capture the entire page, or select one of the built-in device sizes: phone (390 × 844), tablet (834 × 1194), laptop (1280 × 800), or desktop (1440 × 900). You can also enter your own width and height.
When you choose a device size, the page is resized before the screenshot is taken. That means your responsive layout and breakpoints behave exactly as they would on a real device.
For full-page screenshots, you can also frame a specific section. The page moves behind a fixed frame, making it easy to capture exactly what you want. While you're framing the shot, Pixy's editing interface is hidden so the final image contains only the page.
Choose Copy to place the image on your clipboard, or Save to download it as a PNG at your display's native resolution.
Screenshots are created entirely in your browser. They never pass through Pixy's servers, and Pixy can't capture pages you're not viewing. If your edits are visible on the page, they'll appear in the screenshot. Hide them, and they won't.
Open a page from your project and press S.
