Some design changes only make sense when you see them in motion.
A menu opens, a page scrolls, an animation plays, or a user moves from one page to the next. A screenshot can't capture how those interactions feel, and recording them usually means deploying your changes first.
Click the Record button in the toolbar, next to the camera. Pixy hides its interface while keeping your edits visible, so the recording shows your redesigned site exactly as you've created it, even if those changes haven't been implemented yet.
If you want to narrate your recording, turn on the microphone before you start. If your page plays audio, you can include it using your browser's built-in audio sharing option. A short countdown gives you time to get ready before recording begins.
Stop the recording from your browser's screen-sharing controls. Your video is saved immediately as a download, using MP4 when your browser supports it, so it's ready to share.
The recording never leaves your device. Pixy doesn't upload, store, or keep a copy of the video or its audio.
One thing to keep in mind: recording stops if the page performs a full reload. Navigation within a single-page app continues recording normally.
Open a page from your project and press Record.
