Images added in Pixy are now treated like the rest of your project.
Drag an image onto the page or paste one with Cmd+V, and it appears where you drop it. Photos are automatically rotated if needed, resized to a maximum of 2560 pixels on the longest side, and converted to WebP to reduce file size. SVGs are imported as markup and sanitized before they're stored.
Images are saved as files attached to your project rather than being embedded in edit records. The generated markup simply references them with a normal <img src="media/...">, so the edits remain clean and easy to apply. Images aren't exposed publicly or embedded as base64 data, and they're loaded from their stored files whenever the page is reopened.
When your AI agent pulls edits that include images, the response also includes a command to download every required file as a ZIP archive. The files are named to match the paths used in the generated markup, making them easy to extract directly into your project.
Once they're downloaded, the images become part of your own codebase and are served from your own site. Pixy simply transfers them into your project. A full media library is on the roadmap.
