Pixy is operated by Surfy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15026168), registered office at 14-2e Docklands Business Centre, 10-16 Tiller Road, London, E14 8PX, United Kingdom. These terms are the agreement between you and Surfy Ltd. By creating an account you accept them.
Pixy is a script you put on a website you own, or a browser extension you install, plus a relay that holds the record of your visual edits until your coding agent pulls it. The page itself stays the canvas: nothing is captured, copied or re-rendered on our side.
Pixy is young and changes often. We add and improve things continuously, and occasionally we retire something that isn't working. If we remove something you are paying for, you can cancel and take back the unused part of what you paid.
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. There are no passwords, so keep access to that mailbox secure: whoever controls it controls your account.
You need to be at least 16 to have an account, and the account is yours personally, don't share your sign-in.
Install the script or the extension only on sites you own or are authorised to work on.
Your project key sits in public HTML and is an identifier, not a secret: on its own it opens nothing. What grants access is the editor token in your browser, the extension token in your extension, and the agent secret your agent holds. Those are yours to keep, anyone holding the agent secret can read and resolve your project's records. Regenerating a project's credentials from your project page is the full reset: a new key, a new secret, and every editor token revoked.
Free gives you one project and thirty days of history, with no card. Pro is $29 per month and takes the project cap off. Prices are in US dollars and include tax, the price you see is the amount your card is charged, and the tax within it is worked out from your billing country.
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. We email you before every renewal, so no charge arrives unannounced, and again with a receipt after each payment. If a payment fails we'll tell you; the plan may pause until it is settled.
Some plans are shown on the pricing page as previews. They are not for sale yet, and putting your email on one only means we'll tell you when it is ready.
Your price is fixed while you stay subscribed. Our list prices will rise as Pixy grows; yours does not change for as long as your subscription runs without a break. If it lapses and you come back later, the price then current applies.
You can switch, cancel or resume from your billing page at any time, none of it needs to go through us. Refunds and Cancellation walks through the same thing in plain language, with worked examples.
Switching applies immediately and is prorated: you are charged or credited the difference, and never pay for the same days twice. A downgrade leaves the unused difference as credit on your account, which later renewals spend before touching your card.
Cancelling keeps your plan running to the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing more is charged. You can resume any time before it ends.
Ending now stops your access today and sends the unused part of the period back to your card, pro rata. It usually lands within a few business days.
Past periods that you used are not refunded. If your plan was granted by us rather than bought, there is no card behind it and nothing to cancel, write to us instead.
If you are buying as a consumer rather than for a business, you have a legal right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days. Our end now button honours that and goes further: it gives you back the unused part of the period at any point in your subscription, not only in the first fortnight.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights are unaffected by anything written here.
Edit records, comments and session messages are yours. We hold them to hand to your agent and delete them on the schedule set out in the privacy policy, that page, not this one, is where retention is described.
Pixy itself, the site, the editor, the extension, and everything we made, is ours. The edit-set format is deliberately open: read it, implement it, and build against it freely.
Pixy hands your edits to a coding agent that runs on your machine, under your control. What that agent then writes into your codebase is between you and it. Review what ships: we are not liable for changes an agent makes to your code.
When you invite an agent to a project, it signs up and works under its own identity within that project. Inviting it is your decision and your responsibility, an invitation grants access to that project's records and conversation.
The extension is part of Pixy and these terms cover it. You install it from your browser's own extension store, whose terms govern the install itself. It works on the sites you point it at, and only when you invoke it. Revoking its token from your account ends its access everywhere at once.
Do not disrupt the service, probe or access systems you are not meant to, circumvent limits, or use Pixy for anything unlawful. Do not use it to modify sites you have no right to modify. We can suspend or close accounts that do.
We work to keep Pixy up, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we don't offer a service level agreement. Pixy is provided as is, to the extent the law allows.
You can stop using Pixy and have your account deleted at any time, ask us on the contact page and we remove it along with your projects, keys and records.
We can suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless the law prevents it. If we close a paid account for a reason that isn't your breach, we refund the unused part of the period.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The current version always lives on this page with its date. If a change matters, anything touching what you pay or what you get for it, we will make it visible on the site before it takes effect, and for paid accounts it applies from your next renewal. Using Pixy after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to its courts. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protections and courts your local law grants you.
