A subprocessor is a company that handles data on our behalf in order for Pixy to work. This page names every one of them, what each receives, and where it sits. It forms part of the privacy policy.
There are two.
| Who | Purpose | What they receive | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payments | Email, account id, billing address | United States |
| ReliableSite | Hosting | Everything Pixy stores | New York, US |
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never reach us, we never see, hold or process a card number.
To bill you we give Stripe your email address and your account identifier. Stripe collects your billing address itself, so it can work out the tax included in your price, and tells us the state of your subscription and each payment. Stripe is a payment processor in its own right, and its handling of your data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
Free accounts never touch Stripe at all.
Pixy runs on a dedicated server we rent from ReliableSite.Net LLC, in New York. The database, the uploaded images and the mail server all live on that machine.
A hosting company is a subprocessor because it holds the hardware, not because it uses your data, ReliableSite makes no use of anything stored on the server, and nothing is handed to it.
The point of this page is as much what it doesn't say. Pixy has no other outside parties in the loop:
The browser extension is distributed through the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons. They deliver the install and receive nothing from us about you.
When this list changes, the new version appears here with a new date. If you need a data processing agreement for your own records, ask us on the contact page.
